Hookah Etiquette

1.

Never pass the hookah hose directly to another person. Always set it down on the table, indicating you are finished and the net smoker may begin.

2.

You should always pass to the right.

3.

When setting the hose down after your turn, fold it so that the mouth piece faces away from the next smoker.

4.

Never smoke anything but Shisha tobacco from your Hookah. It is disrespectful to the culture and gives the tradition a bad name.

5.

Never light a cigarette from the charcoal, or ash a cigarette into the tray.

6.

Never blow smoke in someone's face, unless they ask to sample what is being smoked.

7.

Never share your plastic mouthpiece with another person.

8.

A hookah should be placed on the ground preferably. If you have a small hookah, restrain from setting it on anything to high or any kind of ledge.

9.

Never light a charcoal on top of the bowl.

Hookah Tips:

1.

Never smoke out of a copper bowl. When copper is heated it becomes poisonous.

2.

Keep your tobacco in an air tight container. Some people choose to keep theirs in the refrigerator as well, but HookahRoyal doesn't advise it.

3.

Make sure you wash your Hookah regularly, taking it apart appropriately and washing them under cold water. Make sure you are careful if you are dissembling the valve, you don't want to loose the ball bearing inside.
